Everest Academy Manila Partners with EducationUSA in Making Brighter Futures

February 04, 2016 Lower School Middle School High School

Last January 25, 2016, students of Grade 9 and 10 along with their parents gathered for an information session regarding the possibility of Filipino students pursuing their higher education in universities in the United States. Everest Academy Manila partnered with EducationUSA in presenting valuable information for our school's students.

EducationUSA is a global network of more than 400 advising centers supported by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State. EducationUSA Philippines is the official, trusted source of information about U.S. higher education and provides Filipino students, parents, and educators with free unbiased, accurate, comprehensive, and current information on how to apply to an accredited U.S. university or college.

Some of the topics discussed were the US colleges' culture and environment, the best universities in the country, the courses and services they can provide and the requirements for US and non-US students, insights about the advantages of the 2-year or 4-year college programs and the latest updates of employment trends and job prospects.

The event is the initiative of Everest Formators to provide opportunities for our students to reach their full potential and to collaborate with the best in equipping them to take up the best options and to support them in their college career preparations.
